Central Bank of Kenya grants Virtual Pay International a license.

Central Bank of Kenya has issued Virtual Pay International Limited approval as a Payment Service Provider (PSP) to provide Payment Gateway Services in accordance with the National Payment System (NPS) Act of 2011, and the NPS Regulations of 2014.

This license enables Virtual Pay to provide payment processing services to both domestic and international merchants. The goal is to play a pivotal role in the growth of the financial sector, thereby contributing to the overall growth of the economy.

As is customary, Virtual Pay International Limited aspires to collaborate with all market sector players, including banks, non-bank financial institutions, major card schemes, and so on, to ensure the ability to scale our operations for the benefit of all stakeholders.

We are humbled by the approval from the Central Bank, to offer our services to the Citizens of Kenya, and the global economy at large. We understand the importance of this license, and the regulatory and compliance expectations from the CBK.
