Simba Arati’s wife, Kwamboka, presented herself and asked Kisii residents to vote for her husband in the August elections at  Nyamache Stadium, where the legislator staged a rally, her speech in the native Kisii language enthralled the crowd.

They met while Arati was studying in China, and they have two amazing children together. Dagorreti North MP  Simba Arati’s Chinese wife has demonstrated her unwavering support for her husband by accompanying him on the campaign trail and campaigning for his governor seat.

The wife of MP Simba Arati talked in a free-flowing and eloquent Kisii dialect. Arati, who has been touring Kisii County in search of votes for his gubernatorial campaign, has piqued the interest of the villagers after turning up with his Asian wife KWAMBOKA.

Before speaking to the residents, Kwamboka sang a wonderful rendition of a traditional song hailing her husband, which pleased the audience.
She welcomed the people in her husband’s native tongue after her magnificent rendition of the song, identified herself as the MP’s wife, and asked the villagers to support her husband’s gubernatorial campaign.

My name is Kwamboka and I am the wife to Simba. Thank you for coming I request that you vote for our leader Simba Arati . she said.

She spoke at Nyamache Stadium on monday 17, where the politician staged a rally to promote his campaign. Arati was dressed in traditional clothing, from the photos. Leaders in the devolved unit gave him permission to run for the top position in the county.

The resounding endorsement by the people of Bobasi at Nyamache Stadium this afternoon, speaks volumes and is a testament of the confidence that our people have in the ODM Party and our capacity to greatly transform Kisii County. We shall deliver for our people! he said on his social media platforms.

Arati heaped praises on wife in a previous interview, he confessed how much he loves his wife and said he has never cheated on her because handling one woman is already hard enough.

She helps me. I have never cheated on her. Handling one woman is already difficult, so why should I get more? I don’t entertain slay queens or funny women, he said.

In the interview earlier, he narrated that he met the White woman during his studies at Guangzhou University in Guangdong province, China from where he graduated in 2006. The Chinese woman has also, on previous occasions wowed Kenyans with her mastery of the Gusii language and vernacular songs.
