Samsung Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra Unpacked

Samsung ultimately unveiled its anticipated Galaxy Ring at its July Galaxy Unpacked event. The Galaxy Ring will be the first genuine smart ring from a major phone and wristwatch manufacturer. The new wearable developed by Samsung, The Oura Ring, Evie, and Ultrahuman occupy a somewhat specialized market that is already well-established. The Samsung Galaxy Ring is a fashionable wearable that functions more like a covert health tracker. It is set to retail at ($399.99) on its debut.

Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Watch 7, which is set to retail at ($299.99), and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra at ($649.99). In addition, the company also unpacked other new devices, which include the hefty Galaxy Watch Ultra, the AirPods-like Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and a revised Galaxy Z Fold 6 with squared sides and significantly brighter displays. The Galaxy AI’s capabilities were also discussed.

Users who frequently work with foreign documents or converse in multiple languages will benefit from the Galaxy AI’s instant translation capability. By providing real-time translation of PDF files and web pages, the new releases have become an indispensable tool for global communication.

Another unique feature is the ability to solve equations. Whether for academic or ordinary problem solving, the gadgets may help with complex computations by offering rapid and precise results. This capability, as well as the phone’s capacity to summarize online pages, demonstrate the practical benefits of AI integration.

The new wearables are aimed at both casual users and outdoor athletes. While the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is a more sophisticated smartwatch with new sleep apnea detection features, it lacks some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, which is essentially the Apple Watch Ultra on Android. It replaces the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro as Samsung’s flagship smartwatch and is designed for the active, outdoor type. According to Samsung, it’s their most robust watch to date.
Everything is currently available for preorder in the US and will ship on July 24.
