Erick Omondi Arrested while Marching to State house to Deliver CVs of Unemployed Youth.

Kenyan content creator and comedian Eric Omondi has today been arrested on his way to Statehouse Nairobi.

The comedian had a cart full bearing CVs of millions of jobless Kenyans.

He had earlier shared a photo and videos of the cart on his Instagram page.

“Mimi staki kuweka maisha ya watu hatarini. Mimi nilienda nicacollect CVs, ziko hapa 3 million napelekea mheshimiwa William Samoei Ruto aone watu wake wenye wameenda university na hawana kazi.” he said.

The comedian had asked Kenyans to send their CVs, promising to be their voice and advocate for their rights.

He had stated that he was willing to fight for the rights of jobless Kenyans and was ready to even die.

He expressed his belief that the President did not fully understand the hardships that Kenyans are going through.

“If my life will be the reason the voice of the voiceless was heard so be it. I am saying this because from now we are not stopping.” he added.

He was however arrested along Uhuru Highway and taken to Central Police Station.

This is not the first time but third time he is being arrested this year.

He was first arrested on February 21 alongside 17 others while leading a protest against the cost of living.

On March 1, he was again arrested while distributing packets of unga to Kenyans at City Stadium.
