How to Hide WhatsApp Chat Messages on the Messaging Platform
By long-pressing or swiping on your discussion, you can hide a WhatsApp chat thread.
You are archiving rather than destroying your communication history by hiding it. Conversations that have been archived, like those that have been concealed, can be restored.
WhatsApp is currently one of the most popular encrypted messaging platforms. The Meta-owned app has over 2 billion users worldwide, despite not having the same attraction among US users as other platforms.
With that level of popularity, the number of conversations for the average user may grow to the point where you need to manage them. Either the volume of discussions gets unmanageable to navigate, or you no longer engage with people on the app. In any event, here’s how to back up and restore WhatsApp messages.
A brief tip: When you get a new message in a conversation, it is archived by default. You can change this in the app’s settings.
