You can either sign out of Gmail, deactivate your Google Account, or switch between various accounts depending on the device you use.

Signing out on your computer

1. Open Gmail.
2. In the top right, click your photo.
3. Click Sign out.

If you forgot to sign out of your email on another computer, you can remotely sign out of Gmail.

1. Open Gmail.
2. In the bottom right corner, click Details and then Sign out all other web sessions.

If you’re using a public or shared computer, remember to sign out of your Google Account before you leave.

5. Select Remove an account.
6. Next to an account, select Remove Remove.
