Juma Jux celebrates the success of his song ‘enjoy’.
Bongo artist Juma Jux took to his Instagram to share a screenshot of his song ‘enjoy’ performance record, noting that it was released three months ago but is recording alot of success.
“ENJOY 40 MILLION + VIEWS IN THREE MONTHS π€―π€―ππΎππΎ THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS LOVE ππΎ β€οΈ WHO DO YOU THINK IS ON THE REMIX?” he said
His feature musician, Diamond platnumz also shared the same gratitude message from Jux.
Jux had experienced a setback in August when the song was pulled down from YouTube.
This was after a complaint filed by a Congolese artist named Sapologuano Odenumz.
He had alleged that the melody featured in Diamond and Jux’s song had a striking resemblance to his own composition titled ‘I Found Love.’
The Congolese artist said that his distinctive melodies were incorporated into the track without proper authorization.
He claimed this in a media interview in Tanzania, where Odenumz confirmed he had filed the complaint
“Yes, I copyright struck the song because it is the melody of my song ‘I Found Love’ and it was found on their song.” he said.
Odenumz admitted that he was shocked when he first listened to ‘Enjoy’. and on hearing the similarities between the two songs.
The Congolese unsuccessfully tried to reach out to Juma Jux and was left with no option but to go ahead with his complaint, the Congolese artiste reported to YouTube in a formal complaint for copyright infringement.
The audio track was then taken down from YouTube.
