Rescue operations involving police have started and members of the public and workers from the Naivasha fire brigade are helping in the rescue.
Reports indicate that the deadly accident involved students from Pwani University at the Kayole area in Naivasha after a suspected break failure of the bus.
At least 14 people have been confirmed dead in the accident that happened along the Nakuru-Naivasha highway involving the bus and a 14-seater matatu.
