Musician Vivianne clarifies on who she lost to cancer

Vivianne clarifies that it’s not her sister who died of Cancer

Kenyan artist Vivianne is setting the record straight on who she recently lost to cancer.

She had initially shared a photo of a lady laying on a hospital bed as she was looking at her.

She went ahead to comment that she had lost her sister to cancer.

” It is difficult to accept tha death is part of life. Oh my sister. CancerKills.” she wrote.

The post attracted comments from her followers and Kenyans at large on social media who condoled with her on the loss of a beloved one.

The singer has now shared that the lady in the post is not her biological sister but a sister in God’s love, who she considered as a family.

“Please let me clarify that both my biological sisters in picture one are both healthy, alive, and well. The lady in the hospital bed is my sister in God’s love. I am very sorry for those affected by the misunderstanding.” she said.

Vivianne had also earlier shared a post on her new song with Fire Flames which was about cancer.

“When the artiste @iamfireflames reached out to me about his sister succumbing to Cancer, I took some time to think through this heavy space. I then chose to partner with Him on this song #Cancer to comfort Him & others who know this pain. As someone who knows loss my heart bled for him. Some years back I lost my brother and doctors suspected Leukemia but it was too late to follow up as He had already passed on. We are living in troublesome times and death seems to be knocking all around us. Have you lost a loved one to Cancer? Share your experience in the comments.. #GodSeesYou.” she said.
