Victoria Kimani denies being involved with Sarkodie.

The Kenyan artist Victoria Kimani wrote on her Twitter handle barely a few hours after people started speculating she was in a relationship with Ghanaian artist Sarkodie.

She went on to ask fans to respect her and not link her with a married man. She wondered why people thought she could be between two happily married people yet she would never do such a thing. Victoria had earlier said she is a single woman and not dating anyone while hinting that the person she wanted to be in a relationship with did not feel the same way about her so she was not in any relationship at the time, and it would take her a while before she decides she wanted a new relationship.

While some fans came to her defense and asked people to leave her alone and let her enjoy her life, some urged her to be in a relationship with Sarkodie if she was not yet with him. Kimani who is under the record label ‘Chocolate City’ once had gone to her Instagram account and said Kenyans do not support their artists but hype artists from outside the country, which was one of the reasons she never wanted to stay in Kenya and went to Nigeria, to try her luck with music.

The ‘China love’ hit maker has collaborated with artists all around Africa but now she is a radio presenter in Ghana. Although the Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie who earlier had done a collaboration with our own ‘king of rap.’ Khaligraph Jones, has not yet commented about the story. We believe Sarkodie is a happily married man and Victoria Kimani is very much single as she recently had celebrated her birthday here in Kenya .
