Apple has recently announced new MacBook Air models with 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes featuring their M3 chip.
These new MacBook Airs offer a compelling combination of performance, portability, and battery life, making them strong contenders in the ultrabook market.
New M3 chip: The M3 chip boasts significant performance improvements, claiming to be up to 60% faster than the M1 chip and 13 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air.
Color: Midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray color variations.
Pricing and availability: The 13-inch model costs $1099, which is $100 less than the previous M2 Air, while the 15-inch model costs $1299. Both are available for pre-order now in the US and will be widely in stores from March 8th, 2024.
Other features: Both models retain the sleek design, 18-hour battery life, 1080p webcam, and offer upgraded Wi-Fi 6E for faster connectivity. They also support connecting up to two external displays.
Apple’s senior top marketing executive, Greg Joswiak, raved about the new MacBook Air, calling it their most popular Mac and the go-to choice for laptop users. He claims the M3 chip and its advanced features make the MacBook Air even more appealing.
