Bahati Fears for His Life After Azimio Rally Drama.
Gospel singer turned politician Bahati has expressed that he fears for his life after things took a turn at the Azimio Rally yesterday.
In the campaign video shared online, the gospel singer can be seen leaving the Rally after ‘Baba’ addressed the Mathare crowd telling them he will be given a government job if he steps down from the Mathare Parliamentary race.
Bahati did not take Azimio’s presidential candidate’s words lightly which made him storm from the campaign vehicle into the crowd denying Baba’s remarks.
The occurrence has led him to upload a video expressing fear for his life. The artist is heard saying that he has received threats from political opponents telling him to step down from running for the Mathare parliamentary seat.
Bahati is claiming that his political opponent sent goons to mishandle him physically but bows not to step down from the race. He is confident that he will win the Mathare parliamentary seat despite receiving threats.
Bahati wants to fight for people of Mathare’s liberty and claims his is the best suit for the job. This comes after Azimio presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga endorsed Anthony Oluoch for his re-election while campaigning in Nairobi.
