Xiaomi 14 Civi Review: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 6.5″ AMOLED Screen

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is the newest model in Xiaomi’s Civi phone series, which consists of high-end mid-range smartphones with an emphasis on camera functionality and performance.  This specific model is the Indian version, which debuted a few months ago only in China.

Appearance.

The body of the new phone is covered in an aluminum frame, with the back having a silicone polymer while the front sports a Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It has a thickness of 157.2 x 72.8 x 7.5 mm and weighs 178 g.

Display.
The display boasts a 6.5″ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The camera has Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 3000 nits (peak) with an aspect ratio of 20.02:9. It has a resolution of 1236 x 2750 pixels. The back houses the main lens of 50 MP, a wide-angle primary of 12 MP, ultra-wide angle and a 50 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom. The screen hosts a wide main camera of 32 MP and an ultra-wide-angle lens of 32 MP.

Processor.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and runs on the HyperOS/Android 14 software. It has memory configurations of 256GB/8GB RAM and 512GB/12GB RAM.

It also has a battery of 4700 mAh and a 67W charger that provides a full charge in 40 minutes. Additionally, it has dual SIM, 5G, infrared port, dual speakers and fingerprint reader.
