Artist Akothee has openly shared how disappointment she is with individuals she believed to be close friends, accusing them of avoiding her when she needed assistance for a meaningful cause.Akothee pens a message to president Ruto for a sit-down to talk

 

Taking to her social media platforms, the mother of five posted an extensive message detailing the challenges she faced in establishing her school, Akothee Academy.

 

She revealed that this journey has been quite challenging, and she found herself alone without the support she had hoped for.

 

“This year my hands are full with Akothee Academy. Even my friends who I thought would support me, I have eaten blue ticks πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I was looking at myself even at the desk of 3500 they can’t buy me but if it was alcohol they would buy me champagne for 17k πŸ™ and they would ask me which hotel I want to go to,” Akothee said.

 

 

She promised to help a young boy join high school, saying that she had seen the photo of the little boy in great need online.

 

“But for this young man, I can part with 10k. Anyone who has their details to send us. I have just arrived on Facebook πŸ™ This young man is asking well-wishers to help him join Withaga Boys in Murang’a County.

 

The young boy from Gatundu North achieved a remarkable score of 379 in the KCPE, but his family is unable to afford the expenses for his secondary education.

 

According to Akothee, the father of the boy has expressed his struggles in seeking help, stating that his efforts have been unsuccessful.

 

Towards the end of the previous year, Akothee fulfilled one of her long time dreams by officially launching her school under her foundation.

 

Akothee has previously shared the sacrifices she made, including interrupting her own educational journey for up to seven years, to ensure that she could achieve her dream of providing her children with a basic education.
