DJ Evolve’s mother collapses and dies

DJ Evolve made news months ago when it emerged that he had been shot by Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino, at a club in Nairobi.

Video footage released showed the Member of Parliament shooting at the DJ, as his other hand peacefully enjoyed Shisha.

The DJ was hospitalized for months due to the deadly injuries he had sustained,  as his case lay pending in court.

It later emerged that Babu Owino came to an agreement with the DJ’s family to drop the case in return for compensation.

DJ Evolve and Babu Owino have remained on trending on several occasions since the incident attracting all sorts of opinions on the matter.

Two days ago however, it emerged that DJ Evolve’s mother, Mary Hongo experienced breathing difficulties which led to her collapse. She did not survive.

The death of DJ Evolve’s mother is reported to have shocked the DJ that he fainted. DJ Evolve has been bedridden for two years now.

DJ Evolve was shot on the neck and sustained a fatal injury. It is by luck that he survived the shooting.

DJ Evolve’s father spoke to Mpasho and revealed that his wife passed on on Wednesday evening at around 5:00 pm. He said she fainted at her shop and was rushed to the hospital.

She was sadly pronounced dead on arrival. May her soul RIP.
