George Magoha, CS Education has stated that parents will take the responsibility for covering the costs of the damage caused by the fire that destroyed some dorms at Kisumu Boys High School.

After numerous dormitories were destroyed in the Saturday morning fire, 250 students were left stranded. According to media sources, it took cooperation between the police and firefighters to put out the fire and rescue several kids from nearby classes.

The tragic incident, which took place two days after schools reopened, was intended to disrupt the academic schedule, but Education CS has insisted that the students will stay in class and take their examinations on time.
