Jalang’o ‘s former worker begs for work months after stealing from him.

Jalang’o ‘s former employee Eli Omundu is now pleading with the Langata Member of Parliament to rehire him, citing difficulties in his life now that he is unemployed.

Eli Omundu and his colleague Litiema were fired from their jobs as gardeners after allegedly stealing a large sum of money from Jalang’o. They fled with their families and returned home only after Jalang’o promised to forgive them.

In an interview, Eli begged his former boss to reinstate him because he has children to feed and educate.

He went on to say that when he arrived in Nairobi to vote, he had nowhere to stay and that after calling his former boss, he was given a fare to return home.

Eli went on to say that he is still on good terms with his former employer and that he is sorry for the mistake he made, which he does not intend to repeat. He stated that because his boss is now a politician, he can get him a job in Langata.
