Kenya Broadcasting Corporation(KBC) up in Flames.

The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation popularly known as KBC has been caught in a fire. The Media broadcaster’s headquarters located along Harry Thuku road was struck by the incident which occurred around 6 in the morning.

Property worth millions has been destroyed including the canteen. Firefighters arrived after an hour and a half.

The corporation’s acting Managing Director spoke to the Media and confirmed the fire was put out at around 7:30 am. No casualties were reported.

Broadcasting operations were not affected as the flame concentration was on the canteen, which is separate from the main media house. Everyone was evacuated until the fire was contained.

Investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
