Renowned fashion house Balenciaga has officially appointed American socialite Kim Kardashian as their latest brand ambassador.
In a statement released on Monday, the fashion powerhouse revealed their announcement accompanied by a portrait captured by the esteemed documentary photographer Platon.
The statement further highlighted some of the socialite’s notable contributions and dedication to the brand.
“Over the years, Kim Kardashian has walked the Balenciaga 51st Couture show, accompanied Demna to the 2021 Met Gala wearing custom Balenciaga, attended Balenciaga runway shows, and co-starred in several campaigns,” part of the statement read.
Balenciaga had the portrait of the Socialite with bold writing that read, ‘KIM KARDASHIAN BALENCIAGA AMBASSADOR.’
Commenting on her recent appointment, Kim expressed that the designs of the brand have been integral to her personal style for numerous years.
She emphasized that Balenciaga has played a significant role in some of her most iconic fashion moments.
Kim commended the fashion house for consistently embracing modernity and craftsmanship, applauding their innovative approach to design under the creative direction of Demna.
