This coming Sunday is going to be a very busy day as it is birthday of the Governor of Machakos county, Alfred Mutua, who happens to share his birthdate with Tanzania’s bongo star Rayvanny.

Much to the amazement of people, the two whose birthdays is on the 22nd of August have decided to link up and celebrate their birthday together here in Kenya.

While relaying the news to his fans and followers, the Governor uploaded a post to his social media showing a picture of the two . Rayvanny landed in Kenya yesterday night through JKIA and was received by an entourage of the Governor, accompanied by paparazzi.

Alfred Mutua, who will be turning 51, has been dominating the news recently.

The Governor had given a hint earlier that his coming birthday would be a big and lavish celebration but no one had a clue about what he meant. He asked people to buy tickets and come out in large numbers for the event. Well, now we know what he was talking about.

This huge event comes barely a week after his wife Lilian Ng’ang’a announced their separation. The two decided to get a divorce but did not divulge details into their decision.

There have been speculations that the celebration is part of him moving on from his heart break .Many Kenyans have taken to social media to rant their frustration on how he could have the audacity to hold such a lavish birthday when his people, in his county are suffering due to lack of food.

Kenyans went as far as asking why he brought someone from outside to perform when he could just get a local artist like Otile brown, who is currently dominating the Kenyan music industry charts.

Well, we are here for the birthday and can’t wait for 22nd of August to witness what unfolds .
