There comes a time when a user needs to block calls from an incoming number as the best solution for whoever the unsolicited or unwanted caller is.
Depending on the make and model of your phone, the process below may differ slightly.
Steps for blocking a contact on an Android smartphone.
- Open the main Phone app from your home screen.

Tap the Android settings/options button to bring up the available options.

Tap ‘Call settings.’

Tap ‘Call rejection.’

Tap ‘Auto reject mode’ to temporarily reject all incoming numbers. If you would like to reject only a specific number, tap ‘Auto reject list’.
6.Tap Auto Reject List to open the list
Input the number you would like to block.
Tap ‘Match Criteria’ to specify whether to block exactly the same as the number you entered, or anything that starts, ends or includes your phone number.
