Man kills Priest for sexual assault and STI infection
A man in Mbeere Sub-County has confessed to killing a priest for allegedly assaulting and infecting him with an STI.
Michael Muthini Mutunga told the court that he took the law into his own hands as the priest had abused the relationship he had with him.
He further said that he acted out of anger and grief.
It all started when the priest offered to pay school fees for him but after a short time, the priest started calling him ‘dear or, sweetheart.’
The priest would then sodomize Michael and afterwards threaten to kill him if he told anyone.
Michael told the court that the priest sodomized him twice and infected him with a sexually transmitted disease.
Michael was convicted on his own plea of guilt. A victim impact report was ordered before sentencing.
