Rihanna decides to step down as Savage X Fenty CEO to focus on her family

Musician Rihanna who is currently expecting her second child with lover ASAP Rocky founded the brand Savage X Fenty in 2018, alongside a group of investors.

“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years,” Savage X Fenty wrote.

Rihanna has however appointed Hillary Super, who previously was the CEO of Anthropologie Group, to succeed her starting from Monday, June 26.

“I’m thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family,…..The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring.” Hillary said.

Since Rihanna founded the brand in 2018, Savage X Fenty has become an industry-disrupting leader in the lingerie space, luckily this legacy will continue with Hillary Super in charge.

Rihanna, for her part, will continue to serve in a leadership role for the brand as the executive chair.
