Willis Raburu moves to TV47 after leaving Citizen TV

Former 10 over 10 host, Willis Raburu has just announced a new partnership with TV47 after exiting Citizen TV.

The media personality is all set to host a fresh show titled ‘Wabebe Experience,’ slated to air on Fridays at 10:00 p.m.

He took to his social media platforms to share the news, creating a buzz among his followers.

“Welcome to the new journey… THE WAIT IS OVER! Announcing my partnership with TV47 WABEBE!” he said

While he did not provide specific details about the content of the upcoming show, he has urged his fans to tune in and join him on this new adventure.

This announcement follows Raburu’s departure from Citizen TV in June of 2023.

After an impressive 13 years at the media house owned by SK Macharia, Raburu decided to embark on a new chapter in his career.

Reflecting on his decision to step back from his former role, Raburu expressed his intention to take a break and pursue further education.

“Well, I’m going to rest, I want to take a breather, take a step back, I want to share the knowledge that I have and also continue with my Masters at USIU which is on Strategic Communication and also Communication Development. So for now, that remains my focus.” he said

At Citizen TV, Raburu worked as a presenter, digital and communication consultant and influencer.

In July 2023, he was appointed as Nairobi Governor Sakaja’s Communications Director, responsible for managing press relations and developing contacts with media personalities and influencers.

It is not clear whether he will continue with his job at Sakaja’s office, while hosting his new show.
