Bien Aime of Sauti Sol signs Ksh 50 million recording deal

Sauti Sol’s Bien has signed a recording deal worth Ksh 50 million which will last three years.

This comes after the musical group decided to embark on solo projects.

The group however will remain signed under their record label Universal Music.

The announcement was made during the release of Bien’s EP ‘Bald Men Love Better’ that features famous musician Aaron Rumbui.

Bien has now joined fellow solo artists Nviiri and Bensoul in the Sol Generation.

We are all in each other’s art, and we are learning each other, to be individuals and supporting one another while at the same time we are giving you guyz the best revolution of art I think Kenya has ever seen.

This is a company that is just growing and I am happy that you guyz are able to see polycarp in his individuality.

Polycarp is an amazing singer, an amazing songwriter, and an amazing song producer, said Bien.

The General Manager of Sol Generation Wlliam Nanjero added and said;

As a business we have grown in the last two years. We were a record label but we are no longer a record label but a creative arts programme.

We are taking a Kenyan product and exporting it for global markets. We have two amazing artists, Bensoul and Nviiri and during the Covid-19 period, we took time and re-engineered how we do our business.
