Dj Evolve says he’s able to speak after undergoing surgery.

Kenyan renowned DJ Evolve is a happy man after getting his voice bac after a long time.

Speaking in an interview, the DJ revealed that he had had an eight hour surgery last month and now he is able to speak well.

“I never thought this day would come but I have finally regained my voice back. I have truly seen God’s works.” he said.

He explained that he underwent the surgery on March 6, 2023, but was not able to speak properly until earlier of this week.

“I prayed before going for the surgery and asked God to stand by my side all through the surgery. And Indeed, he did exactly that.” he added.

The DJ is however, still confined to a wheelchair and is practising sitting well.

He had been shot in the neck at B Club entertainment spot in Kilimani, Nairobi on January 17, 2020.

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino had been charged with the shooting of the DJ but later the murder charges were dropped.

The state however pressed misuse of firearm charges against Babu Owino.

The court set June 15 for a defence hearing.
