The distressed businesswoman sought the pastor’s assistance to bless and pray over the money in a widely circulated video.

She claimed that the funds belonged to her son, known as RO, who had supposedly stashed the amount in dollar denominations inside his car.

She alleged that CID officers confiscated the money in dollars, which was later converted into Kenyan currency, resulting in the substantial sum of Ksh6 million.

However, she expressed suspicions about the circumstances surrounding the conversion, suggesting that the officers may have taken a portion for themselves.

She voiced concerns about the origins of the money, fearing it might be linked to illegal activities.

“The dollars were found in my son’s car. He is an Uber driver. The CIDs went to the bank and the money was converted to Kenyan currency, bringing the total to Sh10 million. They gave me Sh6 million and went with the remaining to their car, where my son was.”

Struggling with fear and anxiety, the woman pondered the potential risks her son might encounter due to the enigmatic circumstances surrounding the money.

“I do not understand why they gave me the money and went with my son. It could be that they left the cash so I could use it to buy a coffin and ferry my son’s body home; I just don’t know. That is why I did not enter my house with the money. The moment I received it, I embarked on a journey to Mombasa to bring it to the altar,” the woman said.

In response to her plea, Pastor Ezekiel assured the woman that he would offer her security until she reunited with her son.

He also proposed to protect the funds while she endeavored to gather information about her son’s whereabouts.
